Sigá - sigá (Slow motion life ) retrata a través de sillas y butacas vacantes, raídas, desperdigadas y en pose de espera, el estilo de vida de la gente de Chipre.

A ciertas horas del día, cuando el sol es demasiado intenso para soportarlo, sólo ellas habitan las calles, haciendo suya cada esquina, marcando territorios, parcelas, esperando a que la sombra caiga de nuevo sobre ellas, mientras guardan el sitio a esa gente, sus dueños, que más tarde retornarán a la calle, con sus charlas de vecinos y sus partidas de backgammon.

Sigá - sigá es una expresión que emplean los chipriotas, y que denota su actitud relajada ante la vida, y su temperamento mediterráneo.

‘Split Women is a visual criticism to the myth of the so called "equal position " of women and men in society. By using housecleaning objects i ve made associations to the attributes that I understand are undeniably expected from women. And by removing one of her arms i ve tried to imply the long way still to come for men to realize they need to give a hand. it s not about feminism, it s just about common sense.’
